Product Overview
GF-SBV-02 is a brass static balancing valve with threaded connections, used for flow regulation and hydraulic balancing in HVAC water systems. The valve opening is set by handwheel, and flow is measured and set across the test ports, so that each branch can be brought to its design flow rate.
The valve is intended for building heating, chilled water and other closed-loop water systems, and is particularly suited to circuits where flow must be pre-set, measured and verified during commissioning.
In multi-branch systems, unequal pipe resistance leaves some branches carrying more than design flow while others fall short. GF-SBV-02 supports hydraulic balancing through flow regulation and measurement, reducing excess flow and improving distribution between branches, which gives the system a stable basis for operation.
